Vancouver Transportation Foundation
Mission Statement
VTF was formed in 1994 as a British Columbia
non-profit society, whose mandate is:a) to provide scholarships and bursaries for the benefit of students in pursuit of post-secondary education, with emphasis upon areas of studies relative to transportation.
b) to raise money for carrying out the purpose of the Society through donations, fees or otherwise.
c) to accept and receive such donations, gifts bequests, grants and other funds as may be deemed appropriate for use in carrying out the said purposes;
d) to do all such other acts and things as are conducive to the attainment of the purpose of the Society.
The purposes will be carried out on an exclusively charitable basis.
The Foundation engages in assorted projects such as forums on transportation issues, golf tournaments, lotteries and other fundraising activities to facilitate the funding of annual scholarships and bursaries.***
"Our objective is to advance and promote transportation modes and issues as well as to provide updates and progress on matters of interest within the transportation industry."***
